What perceived inadequacies are you hiding through offering many modalities + medicines in your spaces?

A pattern I notice within this line of work is how many Facilitators over offer modalities within their spaces in a way where it is apparent that it comes from a lack of belief and lack of self esteem in their own frequency medicine.

So there then becomes an over compensation for the self perceived inadequacy by over offering + trying to create an environment for a ‘big’ expereince.

It is a really covert way of forcing an outcome that may or may not be ready to occur in the client.

And it is rooted not in the clients best interest but the wounding of the Facilitator.

It is rooted in the Facilitators lack of self belief in their own presence being a powerful source of transformation and holding.

This becomes problematic when clients nervous systems are forced into a space they may not be able to hold or maintain, leading to collapse and the possibility of (re)traumatisation.

It doesn’t honour what the client needs in the moment as the focus is on a big experience, which in turn tends to point to the ego of the Facilitator being forefront + centre, which in turn is an invitation to deepen into the self work by the Facilitator.

Another spot I see this playing out, is the extravagant altars that people curate in their spaces and a question I love to offer to Facilitators who do this is, what would it look like if their was no adorned altar? How would you feel about your Space Holding capacity without the altar?

Altars can symbolise beauty, intentionality + hold medicine + supports the energy of the space AND they can be a distraction for the Facilitator to hide behind due to the self perceived inadequacy; it holds the energy of:

“If I make it look pretty with all these crystals, candles and flowers, will it make up for the fact that I don’t believe what I offer is good enough?”

One thing I will clarify here, is that this is not a discourse on not having multiple + complimentary modalities or abundant altars in Spaces.

It is speaking to the energy of lack that is can be present underneath and is an invitation to enquire into the lack of belief or need to hide behind many medicines, modalities and huge altars.

It is a vital component to curate a space + a practice that is clear of any distortions or projections that are coming through you, the Facilitator.

This is how we keep the spaces + energy within our spaces meticulous.

It is also an invitation to step more and more into your own frequency medicine, for the more you step into this energy, the easier t will be for the people to who are called to your specific skillset and energy to be able to find you.

And they can’t feel you if you are hiding behind all these aspects.

This is one of the core components we will be exploring in the Embodied Holder Online Training in April, the doors are open and the details can be found below.
