Labyrinth: a rite of passage.
British Woman hold an ancient wisdom in their bones, long has that connection been lost, suppressed, disconnected from, a power that has laid dormant for centuries.
And it shows up in the Woman who guides + holds space for others, Women fearing fully stepping into their work because of the initiation it will take them on, the mask that is going to have to come down, the organic push back that comes with going against the grain in a tight lipped, brush everything under the carpet culture, that still fears the Witch.
This shows up as hesitancy in the Woman who fears being fully seen in what it is she can do; she dulls it down and dilutes it, you try to make it more digestible + appetising, when its neither.
You make small what it is you hold naturally and so organically.
So you stay around the edges of it, kinda touching it but keeping it suppressed, giving them a flavour but not the full thing.
Afraid of the retribution of it.
